I am currently using version 5.2 and I just reformatted my computer and installed Windows XP. Before I re-install weatherlink software I'm wondering if you would advise me to use version 5.4 instead of version 5.2. If so, where can I get a copy and how much does it cost.

Yes you might as well use the latest version - v5.4V. The differences from v5.2 are relatively minor for VP users but v5.4 is reported as being more robust as well as having a few new features. It's a free download from: www.davisnet.com/support/weather/software.aspYou don't need to uninstall the old first, by default v5.4 will install itself into its own folder 'Weatherlink 54'. You just need to copy across your station folder from the existing WL folder to the new '54' folder and, other than needing to open the station on its first new use, it should just carry on logging.
