I have a hp with 504 Mb ram. 2.80GHz, xp pro service pack 3
It does nothing but run majic jack and weather link, there is no connection between it failing and a phone call coming in.
The weather link is plugged into the cable modem, TCP/IP communication. It may run for a few days to a few hours before it goes into not responding while doing an upload.
According to the files on the computer the error is application hang.
Any thoughts? thanks in advance

Well still having issues.
My setup is the weatherlink ip with the data logger and ethernet cable. The ethernet cable is plugged into my netgear router. We have cable internet, always on. The software will just fail, giving an error message of application fail. I have to close the application and Restarting to get it running again. It might run for days then fail.
Any thoughts?

I'm wondering if you have any resolution to the issue you are seeing? I have the same issue with a different physical setup but the application also fails with lockup.
My physical setup has the VantageVue console with USB datalogger to a wireless adapter. The PC then has the other end of wireless link to USB port. The WeatherLink software(5.9.2) then uses the USB communication.

No it is still failing, i have updated the computer, updated the software of the weather link and the weather station. Sorry I did not see your message, i gave up looking for a answer here. Nothing is running on that computer but the weather link. so I have no clue what is going on.

You might try 5.9.3 which is out now. I don't know if it will help but I think it may have new USB drivers or something.

Still running with the 5.9.3, will be interesting to see if it keeps running for more than the normal 3 days or so
