I recently purchased and installed a wireless Vantage pro 2 c/w a 6510USB datalogger.
My home Pc runs windows XP
I installed the software as a serial connection (fearing the USB problems and to enable future use of Weather Display) and installed the driver on the disk. I now have a COM6 and I can see the current weather on the bulletin screen. There is no history ( I set the logger up a few weeks ago).
At first every time I clicked on line graphs or another historical screen (or on download) it waited while downloading 513 records but then gave no plots. On reading the setup documentation I reset the archive period to half an hour, it gave me a warning about deleting the archive information and I proceeded. Now whenever I attempt to download or show graphs it gives me a message saying "No new data to download".

Couple of things you could try.. First would be a full power down of the console. Remove batteries and AC ada[ter to console then unplug your datalogger. Let them set for a few minutes to a half hour. Then plug the datalogger back into the console, plug in the AC adapter, then insert batteeries and reconnect to the computer. If that don't do it, could be bad data in the WeatherLink database. I would try the first thing however and see how it goes before trying to dig into the data files be it editing or deleting and starting over from scratch.

Removed AC adapter and batteries, left for 10 mins - now works fine, thank you.
