I recently upgraded to the latest MAC OS (10.5) and now WeatherLink no longer works. Anyone else experiencing this ? If so any suggestions how to make a fix?
Thanks

I ve got the same problem. There is a problem with the Java software ( libjspMacOSX.jnilib ). Davis support wrote We have a high level of confidence that Weatherlink will work just fine with OS X 10.5. Secondly, we will buy and test Leopard. We have noticed that when ever there is an update to the OS, we see a spike in the calls. This is often due to other conflicts in the operating system. But I am using a blank 10.5 without any other applications installed.

This is definitely an intel mac problem I have two mini macs one pre intel and the other intel powered. I changed both to 10.5 and Weatherlink on the intel mac failed straight away quoting a java error. Transfered the weather station to the other mac still running 10.5 and it has worked perfectly ever since. I notified Davis Weather and they responded that they did not have a version of 10.5 at that time to prove it so some day.......... mike a

Davis wrote me this email
Hello,
Java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError is an error message we have encountered from a few customer's who update their operating system on Intel Macs to Leopard. We have installed Leopard on our Mac computers and are debuggong the problem. I'll add you to our list to be contacted when we find a solution.
Second answer Oue engineering department is looking into the Intel Mac/Leopard bug. The severity of this problem is much more than we thought. Unfortunately it may take months to resolve this issue. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I am also having problems. I am running 10.5 on an intel Mac mini. I installed the Leopard patch (5.0.3c) from Davisnet as well as the USB drivers, but I am still not able to get the VP2 and the mini to communicate. The only options I have in the communication setup are a bluetooth/PDA and a bluetooth modem. Any idea what I am missing?
