I've been using WeatherLink for years. This past Sunday it quit writing the data. It does through the download activity but never updates the monthly file.
I've tried about everything and I also use Cumulus which does communicate and downloads the data. I do not use them at the same time.
I've tried installing and reinstalling, making a new station, moving all the old data out of the folder.
Using the current version of WL 6.0.3and communication is good. No errors in the log.

I guess I should add.
Vantage Pro 2 with wireless station. USB connection converted to serial port. Win 7 Pro 64 bit. No problem communicating with the console.
The software has worked well for years though all the versions and my hardware. The current setup is over three years old with no problems.

I had to unplug the memory module. I lost about three days of data but that is all it took.

Guess I am having basically the same problem. After years having Davis Vantage 2 working fine, it suddenly "Ca Not Find Com Port". Restarting does no good.
