Hi; Is there an easy way to move all the raw data collected by a Davis Vantage Pro 2 weather station up to a web site and use javascript to manipulate it within a web site? I am looking for something similar to WeatherFox Alltags (for Ambient Personal Web Service). Thanks.

It's maybe not the easiest thing in the world, but check the forum on this site under "the wXML Project" for ".htx files". There's an XML template there with a brief explanatory note for use with WeatherLink.
You can download the instructions for participating in the wXML Project - which is intended for displaying other people's weather data on your page - but you can use those same instructions to build multiple web pages that all draw upon the uploaded XML file
This may not be any easier than WeatherFox's "all tags" thing, but until someone goes to the trouble of creating a WeatherLink equivalent, it's the best thing I know of (and was a lot of trouble in and of itself - I know, since I wrote it...)
You do realize though that you can create whatever custom web pages you want for WeatherLink and just use WeatherLink's HTML tags to display the data on them? That's actually a lot easier, though it means uploading each processed page vs. uploading a single XML file. But unless bandwidth is a huge consideration, it is probably easier, especially if you're just starting out. From what I remember of your posting at the Ambient Forum, it sounds like you're just planning to use WeatherLink for a bit until Ed gets the VP2/streaming datalogger issues fixed on VWS, so you may want to minimize the time/effort you spend on this effort?

You are right that I have high hopes that Ed can figure out why VWS is not working for me. I would rather use VWS as I like the eye candy better, although in many ways I guess it does not pull data as efficiently from the console. I seem to have Ed's attention today so we will see.
I only know enough about XML to be dangerous. Are there any special server requirements? My web site is on a FreeBSD system running Apache.
Thanks.

Also, what should the settings look like under the configuration for the Weather Underground to have it update every 15 minutes? I would like more requent updates than once every hour. Thanks.

As to the XML, it doesn't care what kind of server it sits on. Biggest limitation is that the data binding/data island presentation isn't available on Netscape or as far as I know, Firefox.
For your update frequency from WeatherLink to Wunderground, you have three upload profiles in WeatherLink. If they're all in use, pick the one that has the same upload frequency as you want to use for Wunderground. Within that profile, click on the "Select Report Files" option, and turn it "on", along with filing out your Wunderground user ID and password. If there isn't a profile uploading at the frequency you want and you have an unused profile, go into that profile and do the above. Last, if they're all in use but none are at the frequency you want for Wunderground, you'll need to make a choice - either change the upload frequency for one of the profiles, or match your Wunderground upload frequency to that of one of the profiles.
